We track applications, acceptance, entry, and participation at the university, and implement initiatives to address inequities and facilitate completion rates to enhance future employment opportunities.
So if you didn’t get the ATAR you need or didn't complete Year 12, don't have the required subject prerequisites, or have work experience, or experience other barriers to higher education, our pathways and inclusion programs and initiatives can help.

Credit and recognition of prior learning
If you have studied before, have work experience, or taken part in other approved activities, you could be eligible to receive credit, reducing the time it will take to complete your desired degree.
Flexible study arrangements
There are many reasons you may want a break from study. At Griffith, we have flexible pathways for you to complete your studies in the time you have. We have a trimester model, part-time study pathways, and deferral and leave of absence options when needed.

Academic support
Griffith University offers a range of support services to help you succeed, including study skills, assessment and IT support, peer-assisted study sessions, and mentoring. GUMURRII, our dedicated support unit for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, provides personalised assistance from recruitment through to graduation, including tutoring and academic support for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
