How to apply for undergraduate diplomas

You can quickly complete your application by following these simple steps:

1. Choose your diploma

Explore our comprehensive range of diplomas using our Study at Griffith page. Here, you can search by degree, career or course and find everything you need to know, from prerequisites and course options to fees, how to apply and credit transfer.

2. Check entry requirements

You’ll need to meet admissions requirements to apply for an undergraduate diploma. First, check the ‘How to Apply’ section of the entry, looking for the ATAR or required selection rank, subject prerequisite requirements and any other prerequisites.

3. Submit your application

The application process should take you about 15 minutes. Visit either the  in Queensland or the  in NSW.

Select your desired Griffith bachelor degree from the options above as your highest preference. Select the Griffith undergraduate diploma that is matched to your desired bachelor degree as your next highest preference.

By preferencing both programs in this way, if you don’t quite meet entry requirements for the bachelor degree, you may be offered a place in the undergraduate diploma. Remember, successfully completing the diploma gives you guaranteed entry to the matched bachelor degree. You’ll also study your first year alongside your bachelor peers and complete your bachelor degree in the same amount of time as them.

5. Progression to the Bachelor

Undergraduate diplomas are linked to relevant bachelor degrees. You’ll automatically progress to the second year of the bachelor degree after successful completion of your diploma studies - no need to reapply, we take care of everything for you.
