Sustainable partnerships and engagement

Binna Burra

Griffith University is the lead university partner for a new era of the iconic Binna Burra Lodge, which was devastated by bushfires in September 2019.

A memorandum of understanding between Griffith and Binna Burra Lodge cements a strategic partnership between the University and the historic nature-based tourism provider, focusing on collaborative research and education outcomes.

EcoCentre

The EcoCentre is a key element of the Griffith Sciences Partnerships Office, promoting the idea that the knowledge, frameworks and resources to develop a truly sustainable world already exist.

The building itself acts as a fundamental education tool, with features that incorporate strict principles of sustainable design.
