Our world-class teaching and graduate employability is supported by the state-of-the-art Griffith Health Centre (the Ian O'Connor Building), strategically positioned next to the Gold Coast University Hospital within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. The Hopkins Centre

A joint initiative between Griffith University, the former Menzies Health Institute Queensland and the Division of Rehabilitation, Metro South Hospital and Health Service, The Hopkins Centre is committed to solving complex challenges arising from disability and improving the rehabilitation process to bring about better outcomes.

Institue for Biomedicine and Glycomics

The Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics brings together Griffith’s formidable strengths in biomedical research. By combining the outstanding discovery and translational research, infrastructure, and training expertise of the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery, the Institute for Glycomics and biomedical teams from within the former Menzies Health Institute Queensland we will deliver real and immediate impacts locally and globally, transforming the lives of people around the world, especially those in disadvantaged communities.

First Peoples Health Unit

Griffith’s First People’s Health Unit embeds First People’s knowledge to contribute towards closing the gap in health outcomes. This Unit’s work includes a unique mentoring program Nyumbanyun nga Nyumbiyun and e-learning tool Yuwahn Wupin.

Community and Industry Health Partnerships

Griffith Sports

Griffith University works closely with leading sport institutions, organisations, academies, and professional sporting teams to develop pathways for students and elite athletes, improve performance, and develop new avenues of learning and working. Griffith Sport partners include: Surfing 色情网站, Gold Coast Suns, National Rugby League, Queensland Academy of Sport and Swimming 色情网站.

Walk and Talk for Wellness

Griffith School of Applied Psychology, in partnership with Gold Coast and Logan City Councils, provides the Walk and Talk for Wellness Program. Launched in 2020, the service offers informal walk and talk sessions for individuals and small groups with trained facilitators, final year Bachelor of Counselling students (under supervision), from the Counselling program.

Walk and Talk for Wellness is a community outreach program that is about connecting people, connecting with the world around us, and being heard.

Health in Numbers: Mass Gathering Collaboration

Led by Dr Jamie Ranse, the Mass Gathering Collaboration aims to strengthen health security and health systems for mass gatherings in partnership with community, government, non-government, industry, and academic organisations. The Mass Gathering Collaboration is hosted within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Griffith University.
