Choose EndNote to efficiently organise, format and cite your references, with seamless integration into Word and a host of other powerful features. As a Griffith student or staff member, you have free access to the current version of EndNote, see the common questions below for download instructions.

Higher Degree Research ( HDR ) candidates, researchers and academics can request support for EndNote by contacting the Library.

Note: You cannot share PDF articles from your EndNote library unless explicitly permitted by the license terms.

Covidence

Choose Covidence if you need a purpose-built tool to streamline the production of systematic-style reviews, such as:

  • manage screening, data extraction and other tasks associated with a systematic-style review
  • collaborate with others throughout your project
  • import and export data between referencing and other software.

Zotero and Mendeley

These free tools are designed to help you collect, organise, manage and share your references. Both allow you to create a personal digital library by importing references from various sources, including databases and websites. Browser add-ons are available to download references and associated files directly to your library.

Griffith Library does not support these tools.

Zotero

Choose Zotero if you want a free, open-source tool with easy customisation and support for a wide range of file types.

  • Strong integration with word processors.
  • Gathers citation information from websites.
  • Supports many citation styles.

Mendeley

Choose Mendeley if you want a free user friendly interface that allows collaboration and cloud storage.

  • Offers social networking features and recommends papers based on your interests.
  • Includes an integrated PDF reader for annotations.
