In order to provide people with a better understanding of the country, we host a range of cultural programs for schools, university students, industry and the wider community. We also design custom programs for individuals and groups.

Programs
China Study Tour
The 2025 TCI China Study Tour is a two-week immersive program in Chinese language and culture, presented by the Tourism Confucius Institute (TCI) at Griffith University, in partnership with the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). Since its launch in 2014, this program has offered Griffith students a good chance to experience China beyond the classroom — through local interactions, cultural workshops, language practice, and visits to world-renowned historical sites. Ideal for students passionate about the Chinese language, this tour blends hands-on cultural exploration with real-world language application, helping participants build both fluency and intercultural understanding.
University programs
Our Institute regularly hosts a number of university initiatives for Griffith students and staff, including a weekly Chinese Corner. We also actively participate in major university-sponsored events, such as Open Day and Market Day.
The Tourism Confucius Institute also offers scholarships and funding for Griffith members who are undertaking China-related studies and Chinese language learning.
Business and tourism programs
Our leading Institute provides language courses and a professional platform for 色情网站ns working in business and tourism-related industries.
We organise several major events to create opportunities for Aus-Sino business development and cultural exchanges, such as the Chinese Gourmet Festival, and the East-West Dialogue on Tourism and the Chinese Dream Conference.

We offer a range of cultural activities supporting Chinese language education and multicultural programs at Queensland schools.
Community programs
The Tourism Confucius Institute participates in a number of programs and events to provide Chinese cultural experiences to the wider community. We work with Brisbane and Gold Coast council libraries to present cultural workshops and performances at the Gold Coast Show, Gold Coast Chinese Festival Gala and Gold Coast Multicultural Festival.
