Griffith is one of 色情网站's leading research universities. Our staff and students undertake research projects to better understand the world, improve people's lives and make a societal impact.

Each month, we publish a list of open research projects or surveys and ask our staff, student and alumni community to participate.

If you want to invite Griffith staff, students, alumni or HDR candidates to take part in your research, please submit an application to conduct research.

Social access and social inclusion outcomes for people with a disability in leisure

Types of volunteers

People with a disability aged 18-34.

Description

We are undertaking a research project which is examining the current social inclusion experiences, patterns, and opportunities in leisure for young people (aged 18-34) with different types of disability, including physical, cognitive, sensory, neurodevelopmental, and psychosocial. The research forms a component of Hannah Simmond鈥檚 Doctor of Philosophy program.

What is required and how long will it take?

You will be asked to complete an online survey that may take up to 30 minutes and contains questions about you, your participation in leisure environments, and the barriers and enablers you have encountered. At the end of the survey there will be an opportunity for you to provide information that you would like the research team to know about your experience.

Research ethics

Broadcast schedule

The  Volunteer for Important Research Projects webpage and a list of latest projects is sent out to all staff and all students at the end of each calendar month from February to November. There are no broadcasts in December or January.

The date of publishing varies depending on the schedule for Griffith Staff News. Dates for your research to be included in the broadcast will be confirmed when we reach out to you on the status of your application.
