If you are a domestic undergraduate student from any of the following underrepresented groups, Careers and Employability is here to help you achieve your career goals.
We offer tailored career support for students:
- from low socio-economic backgrounds
- from regional or remote areas
- who identify as 色情网站n First Nations
If you have a disability, we also provide inclusive career opportunities to support your success.
Career Achievers Program
The Career Achievers Program provides a $500 financial contribution to eligible students to participate in activities to boost career readiness.
Such activities include:
- a WIL placement
- a鈥痯rofessional development activity
- preparing for interview and/or commencing a part-time, casual or full-time job
- Global mobility (outbound).
The funds can contribute to costs associated with the activity, such as accommodation, meals, travel, membership or registration fees, uniforms and internet or phone charges.
As a member of the program, you will also receive personalised support from our Career Development Consultants, who will support you to set career goals, explore career options and create your own Action Plan for Career Success.
The Career Achievers Program is available to currently enrolled domestic undergraduate students from particular program areas who either:
- are from a low socio-economic background
- are from a regional or remote area
- identify as First Nations.
Note: program areas change each trimester.
Applications for the Career Achievers Program open at the start of trimesters 1 and 2.

Griffith has a number of initiatives to improve the employment outcomes for students with disabilities.
Career Outreach
If you belong to one or more equity cohorts, you may also hear from our Mentors during the trimester.
Mentors connect students with careers and employment services at Griffith University and can direct you to useful resources such as career appointments, workshops and self-help career and employment resources.

Scholarships and awards
There are a number of scholarships for equity support, including relocation scholarships and scholarships for First Peoples and disability support. Griffith University has one application for all scholarships (opening 1 July each year).

At Griffith, work-integrated learning experiences allow you to put what you've learned in the classroom into practice. Through work placements, internships and projects, you can expand your network and your horizons, as well as gain credit towards your degree.
