Work in a supportive environment to build your creative portfolio

Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD) is offering the option of portfolio admission. This workshop shows students how to build a creative portfolio in readiness for submitting a portfolio admission.

Come along and see how you can make a portfolio that best represents your unique creativity and skills.

Participants choose to work in either Design or Visual Arts and by the end of the workshop will:

  • Learn how to present and what to include in a successful Queensland College of Art and Design portfolio.
  • Complete at least one piece of work for their creative portfolio that could potentially be used in their Queensland College of Art and Design portfolio application.
  • Meet and work with QCAD Design, Visual Arts and Contemporary É«ÇéÍøÕ¾n Indigenous Art (CAIA) staff to find out if Queensland College of Art and Design is right for you.

Design portfolio workshops are offered at both at Brisbane City (South Bank) and Gold Coast in 2025.

The Visual Arts portfolio workshop is only offered at Brisbane City (South Bank).
