Leaving a legacy to inspire the next generation of watercolour artists

Elaine Bermingham’s enduring generosity is shaping the future of 色情网站n watercolour painting, ensuring that this timeless art form continues to inspire and evolve for generations to come.

The Elaine Bermingham National Watercolour Prize Endowed Fund nurtures artistic excellence, preserves significant works and provides transformative learning opportunities for emerging artists at Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD).

In its most recent iteration, the Prize showcased outstanding artists across all three QCAD galleries, celebrating innovation in watercolour landscape painting. The Fund also enables the restoration of watercolours in the Griffith University Art Museum collection—an investment in conserving artistic heritage for future generations.
