Mariah Howell
Mariah Howell is transforming her difficult upbringing into a career that’s helping others find their own brighter future. Now in the third year of her Bachelor of Social Work, Mariah continues to excel in her studies and hopes to work for an organisation such as Bravehearts, supporting victims of child sexual abuse and making social support services accessible for everyone.
Zac and Jesse Zborovsky
Twin brothers Zac (Bachelor of Exercise Science) and Jesse Zborovsky (Bachelor of Paramedicine) are achieving academic excellence since moving from Victoria, thanks to their Brighter Futures Scholarships. Despite their packed study schedules and soccer training, the Zborovsky brothers both maintain a GPA above 6.0 and are members of Griffith’s Student Academy of Excellence.
Harmony Otrupcek
For Gamilaraay woman Harmony Otrupcek, art is more than just a form of expression—it’s a way of connecting with and understanding the world. Beyond financial support, the Brighter Futures Scholarship is providing the mental space for her to explore opportunities and develop creatively.
One Brighter Futures Scholarship provides $5,000 each to help our most needy students.
Payroll donations are deducted from your fortnightly pay using your pre-tax salary, removing the need to collect receipts.
100% of your donation goes directly to students as the University absorbs all administration costs.
