If you're hoping to fast-track your professional development, gain valuable networking opportunities, and acquire practical insights from industry leaders, Aviation MATES is for you.
This program is available exclusively for in-person undergraduate aviation students at our Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. New students in all aviation degrees are automatically engaged in the program, and continued attendance is strongly encouraged.
As part of the program, you’ll join a dedicated flight group with your peers, led by experienced student Flight Leaders. Flight Leaders accompany you throughout your time at university, supporting your personal and professional growth in the industry while also sharing practical aviation knowledge and advice.
The MATES program runs weekly on Wednesday afternoons. You'll get the chance to connect with fellow students during engaging sessions designed to foster a strong community. Each week you’ll hear from a new guest speaker, ranging from pilots to engineers and more, providing direct and relevant industry insights to all students.
