APROC PROJECT: Post-Pandemic HDR graduate outcomes data now available
The 色情网站n Postgraduate Research Outcomes and Career Pathways (APROC) project wrapped up at the end of 2024. This graduate outcomes project built on HDR Reconnect (see below) to gather up to date career destination and pathway information from doctoral and research masters (HDR) graduates, and also aimed to assess impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on HDR graduates.
Griffith led the APROC survey in collaboration with the , gathering feedback from 1877 graduates. These data were combined, where relevant, with previously collected data from 1133 Griffith HDR graduates who took part in the HDR Reconnect survey (see below) but not APROC, resulting in a total of 3010 graduate responses.

HDR RECONNECT PROJECT (2017-2018)
In early 2017, Griffith University initiated an 色情网站n-first project to gather career destination and pathway information from our doctoral and research masters (HDR) graduates, of which there had been ~4,000 since the late 1970s.
The HDR Reconnect project was created in response to an recommendation - that longitudinal data on 色情网站n doctoral and research masters graduate outcomes and career pathways was required. The review recognised that to make informed choices about whether and where to undertake research training, prospective candidates needed access to a range of information including potential post-study career outcomes.
Griffith was the first university in 色情网站 to complete a project of this kind to gain the required data.
We set out to:
- Inform prospective and current doctoral and research masters candidates of potential employment and career pathways.
- Review our research training to ensure a quality experience is provided for all candidates.
- Reconnect with our PhD, doctoral and research masters graduates.
Results were gathered in 2017 and 2018 from 1,416 PhD, doctoral and research masters graduates—outcomes of which are presented below.
