Elevator Pitch: My thesis examines the role of local surfing communities in sustainable surf tourism (SST) by exploring how surfing stakeholders, including representatives from surfing institutions, boardrider surf club (BSC) managers, members, and surf tourists perceive and act towards SST at the Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve (GCWSR), in Queensland.
