Working title of Thesis: Exploring cinematic frameworks for community-engaged practice.
Supervisor/s: Kerrie Foxwell-Norton, Nico Meissner, Brandan Mackey
Elevator Pitch: My research develops a cinematic framework for community-engaged practice in documentary filmmaking, demonstrating how co-designing film projects fosters self-determination and stewardship. By guiding collaborations between industry, academia, and community practitioners, this framework explores a participatory filmmaking process as meaningful as the narrative itself.
