Working title of Thesis: Perspectives on Landscape Values in a Changing Climate: A Geospatial Analysis of Social-Environmental Interactions, Conflict, and Collaboration.
Supervisor/s: A/Prof Johanna Nalau, A/Prof Ali Chauvenet
Elevator Pitch: Land use decisions now can exacerbate the effects of climate change in the future and ability to cope. Balancing long-term goals for landscape health with short-term societal needs is an important part of land use decision making. By integrating ecological, social and climate information and perspectives of community members, it may support a more holistic understand of landscape-society dynamics.
