Working title of Thesis: Communication for Heat Resilience: Exploring the Role of Heatwave Communication to Facilitate Behaviour Change in Older People.

Elevator Pitch: With rising global temperatures, heatwaves are increasingly frequent and deadly, especially for older adults. Despite their heightened risk, many older Queenslanders underestimate the threat. My research focuses on identifying barriers to heatwave communication and leveraging behaviour change strategies to enhance these communications, ultimately increasing heat resilience and saving lives.
