Paddy is an experienced climate adaptation specialist, with particular interests in adaptation planning and strategy development, knowledge brokerage and tracking adaptation effectiveness. He was formerly Director of the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) at the University of Oxford, and has worked extensively with both the public and private sector as a consultant. Most recently, Paddy was based in Samoa working with Climate Analytics and SPREP on a project to enhance the resilience of Pacific Island Countries. He has worked on climate change issues in a diverse range of settings including in Asia-Pacific, the EU, South America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
